Swanage and Dorset
Sand Haven is located a short way from the beach at Swanage, one of the most desirable locations in Purbeck and within easy reach of all the attractive and historic features of Dorset.
Swanage alone can boasts more than 1 mile of sandy beach with water ideal for bathing, a traditional steam railway and a wealth of boutiques and small shops. A short walk out of town takes one to Durlstone Country Park which offers splendid views along the Purbeck Coast and from where Dolphins and Puffins can be spotted.
North of Swanage is the sandy beach of Studland which is backed with National Trust nature reserve which offers a chance to walk and see a rich variety of bird and animal life.
